Penn Township provides essential services for township residents through contracts with Waste Management for garbage and recycling. Sewage treatment is managed by the Penn Township Sewage Authority (PTSA). Emergency services are handled by the five volunteer (link) fire departments and Rescue 6 ambulance.

Garbage

Garbage collection for all residents and businesses through out the township will be handled byRepublic Services of Scottdale. Click Here for details.

Recycling will now be collected by Republic Services of Scottdale on a bimonthly schedule through out the township.Click Here for details.

Sewage

The Penn Township Commissioners created the Penn Township Sewage Authority (PTSA) to manage the township's sewage waste.
