Community Development

Duties

The Penn Township Community Development Department is responsible for monitoring all construction activities and related permits and approvals, as well as all subdivisions and land developments. Before you begin any type of home project, you should contact the department to see if you need any permits or special permissions to do such work. The community development department also handles sewage enforcement and occupancy inspections.

Report A Problem

The community development department is responsible for responding to tall grass, junk cars, and any other land use issue. Please call Mike Stack or Bill Roberts to report your issue.

Township Forms

Many of the applications for doing business with the township can be downloaded and filled out before you go to the Municipal Building.
(1) Simply click on the link for the desired application,
(2) Complete the form online, or print the form and fill it out by hand.
(3) Follow the instructions for the form and submit.
